Knots to Node

Knots To Node is a mother daughter led practice by Archana and Stuti, bringing the intricate art of tatting into contemporary design. Tatting is a lace making technique worked entirely by hand using thread and a tatting shuttle, with each knot formed individually. Each piece takes between 3 to 7 hours to make, depending on its complexity. The practice celebrates the patience, precision, and time involved in handmade work, while exploring new ways to carry this centuries old technique into the contemporary world.
